WSJ Article on Mexican Stocks - Bullish

In my e-mail response to Ken Parks:

My portfolio on clearstation.com under MexCom has many of these. I personally own more speculative plays: CX, VTO & ICA.
I see these as outperforming the Bolsa based on their leverage and lower interest rates. As credit loosens up I expect their refinancing to be successful and look for doubles in the stock prices for all in '09 with possibly one giving me a triple.

  1. Comment from Clearstation.com on the EWW Board.

But not enough room right now. Might drop one of my stogy utility stocks to show more Mexico soon. The index is over weighted toward the blue chips and I sort of favor the more speculative stocks in Mexico. Looking at my list and what I actually own, I would say CX and VTO have better potential to outperform the market. Much of the decline has to do with refinancing worry. With lower interest rates, over leveraged companies should rebound as long as the economy rebounds.
